Job: Solutions Architect

Harris global are currently recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect to work for an industry leading FS organisation in central London. The successful Senior Solutions Architect would have worked on high transactional enterprise systems Ideally within FS.

The successful Senior Solutions Architect will undertake the following duties:

Responsible for the solutions architecture on a major new strategic programme of work within the organisation.
Ensure that the solutions designed and delivered to IT estate are aligned to the Architectural Roadmap
Design and implement solutions to achieve successful business outcome and aligned with Enterprise Architecture & Design principles.

Will possess the following skills and experience:

As a technologist who has evolved from a strong background in hands on software development
Experience of Java and Kafka is essential
Knowledge of distributed systems & services, messaging, object orientation, database solutions, web application development, security and open source technologies
Knowledge of design patterns and architectural concepts including microservices, low latency systems, data warehousing, APIs and cloud services
Good knowledge of software engineering practices including: BDD, TDD, continuous delivery and integration, full automation etc.
Experience designing resilient and high availability solutions
