Harris Global are currently looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join our industry leading client in their London office! Our client are currently in the process of a huge Agile transformation and are looking for a candidate with strong experience coaching teams and developing Agile methodologies.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Be accountable for the delivery of projects and products using the appropriate Agile methodology
  • Oversee development and continual improvement of Agile best practices in your team(s)
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and lead dynamic planning process to build a high performing team
  • Create an environment of trust and safety where problems can be raised without fear of blame
  • Be comfortable and confident making decisions and escalations to remove impediments
  • Work closely with Product Owners to build and maintain a Product Backlog and improve business agility
  • Use a variety of techniques, including developing your own training and facilitating workshops that allow teams and stakeholders to start small and continuously improve
  • Work closely with the business and other delivery teams across the organisation to build a strong culture of collaboration
  • Contribute to Agile adoption across the organisation striking the balance between agility and governance frameworks
  • To continue to grow as a coach, developing your coaching skills and empowering those around you to become future coaches
  • Develop appropriate KPIs and help shape practices such as DevOps and CI/CD practices across the organisation

Candidate must possess the following skills:

  • 6-8 years’ experience as an Agile practitioner, preferably in a Financial Services or regulated environment across software development
  • Experience coaching teams to incrementally evolve their ways of working by facilitating experimentation with new practices
  • Experience of stabilising and optimising the flow of work across teams using visualisation, empiricism and coaching techniques
  • Results orientated with good communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • Specific knowledge in some of the following areas would be an advantage:
  • Change Management, Exchange knowledge, Commodity Market, Trading Systems, Management Information Reporting, Clearing House, Risk Management, Market Data
