Harris Global are recruiting for an IT Service Manager to join an industry leading financial services organisation in Central London.

The IT Service Manager will be responsible for the proactive and reactive management and measurement of the in-scope ITIL processes across the IT function.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Ensuring and assuring activities such as root cause analysis and trend analysis are performed over problems, incidents, changes and adverse events such that permanent fixes to problems, incidents, and negative events are found and coordinating the resolution activities, including communications
Coordinating with the Service Desk to understand demand, trending and coordinating the creation of service delivery management information
working closely with Group to implement the standardised set of ITIL processes within the UK across all IT delivery and project teams
Ensuring the delivery of core Incident Management, Major Incident Management and Problem Management processes and the implementation of the processes by internal and external delivery teams (including Group and 3rd parties)
Responsible for ensuring the services defined in the Group Services Agreement are delivered to quality and agreed standards
Responsible for the implementation and assurance of additional ITIL processes eg Change Management, Capacity Management, Event Management, and other ITIL processes as an when ready for implementation.

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience of operating, embedding and enhancing ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Problem, Change and Request Fulfilment
Must demonstrate a strong track record for delivering ITIL process management
A broad technical understanding allied to strong process skills, technical requirements, infrastructure, and tools. Must be able to understand how to deploy the above effectively through clear understanding and experience of implementing ITIL processes, in a complex major organisation.
5 Years experience working in a regulated IT environment.
