Candidate will possess:

  • Experienced in high performing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Financial services experience with knowledge of the main products and services provided is a must have
  • A technology and business change background
  • Ability to articulate business solutions that balance technical capability, cost, and time, against business needs.

An urgent 9 month contract role has arisen with a market leading organisation Training Delivery Lead to support the implementation of a new wealth management Back Office platform. The role holder will report to the Training & Communications Lead and will work alongside a number of other teams, key stakeholders and the business to develop engaging, relevant and detailed training to be delivered via a number of channels.

The role holder will be required to take ownership of training delivery throughout the programme including Programme staff training, train the trainer and staff/end user training. They will ensure that training is delivered via a number of channels, all training collateral is signed off, assessed for quality assurance and delivered prior to the launch of new IT platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for needs analysis and planning, development and coordination of the delivery of training whilst following structured training lifecycle methodology.

Manage the content delivery plan:

  1. Manage the delivery plan for all Programme related training
  2. Support the development of the target operating model and organisation design in ensuring that all roles have a defined training plan and training is executed to that plan

Deliver Programme training:

  1. Responsible for managing the delivery of classroom and online training to a network of teams and roles, in various locations, across the business
  2. Work with key stakeholders, SMEs, business analysts, testers and other product/programme subject matter experts to understand, define and develop training materials to support the new IT platform and aligned processes.
  3. Convert technical information into digestible training material that can be used both to support the implementation of the IT system and for future training needs
  4. Utilise blended learning techniques to deliver training content that can be used across multiple channels and delivered to various audiences
  5. Solicit and act on key stakeholder feedback and manage stakeholder expectations
  6. Use version control and efficient file management of training materials in various formats

Evaluate training delivery:

  1. Develop key performance indicators and key evaluation metrics to provide regular reporting on the success of training
  2. Regularly report key MI to Programme leadership and key forums

General:

  1. Comply with any reasonable instructions or regulations issued by the Company from time to time including those set out in the terms of the dealing and other manuals, including staff handbooks and all other group policies

Personal skills/Experience & Technical knowledge

  • Strong financial services background, preferably experience within wealth management
