Harris Global are currently on the look out for a Project Manager, to join our Data Analytics client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have prior experience working on customisation and system changes and refining user experience on products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage all phases of a project from initiation through to completion including project close and handover to business as usual
- Deliver all assigned projects to agreed scope, time and quality
- Support and structure new projects and product launches to ensure a robust governance process, well defined roles and responsibilities and optimized delivery
- Technically project manage and coordinate the technology teams (Design, UX/UI, Software development) as well as coordinate the overall end-to-end process
- Support individual workstreams with project delivery when needed to ensure the project runs smoothly
- Manage internal or third-party project resources to ensure that they are working effectively to deliver project outcomes.
- Manage and mitigate project risks and issues to reduce impacts on delivery.
- Follow Global Data governance processes to ensure adequate project management documentation, reporting and plans are in place
- Support the creation, maintenance and improvement of project management processes, procedures, tools and people
- Liaise and update senior stakeholders on the status of projects
- Track the project deliverables and match those with agreed deadlines
- Report on success criteria for delivered projects by measuring results
Key skills will include:
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager, with a blend of commercial, digital or IT transformation experience
- Proficiency with MS365, MS Project and Jira
- Project Management qualification preferred
- Excellent Project Management skills
- An understanding of the product development process, including Design, UX/UI and Back-End development is preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, to cope with fast-pace and change
- Desire to learn new skills
- Knowledge of technology and digital systems
- Solution driven, critical thinker and problem solver
- Strong written/verbal/oral communicator at all levels
