Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Security Engineer to join our global Media client on an initial 6 month term. The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a security engineering role and be able to demonstrate a full understanding of the Cyber Security landscape of tools, technologies and solutions.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Network, Firewall, IDS, data encryption, DLP, etc
- Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, LDAP and Okta (or other identity management provider)
- Expertise in many of these domains:
- Security Architecture and Engineering
- Communication and Network security
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Security Assessment and Testing
- Understanding of security and compliance frameworks CIS, NIST, ISO27001
- Experience of having used enterprise DLP products previously, installing, configuring and managing these.
- Experience of deploying, configuring and managing Network Detection and Response (NDR) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools within an enterprise environment.
- Thorough knowledge of AWS's platform and solution offerings.
- Experience with log management and/or SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Log Rhythm etc.
- Must have excellent knowledge and experience on the following IT security categories: Network Security, Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Device and Network Hardening methods.
- Good knowledge of SOAR technologies and implementation
- Knowledge of cloud and containers
- Experience of implementing, configuring and tuning security tools and technologies in a geographically dispersed environment
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good written language skills
