Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Technical Solutions Architect to work for a Global Music Royalties client. The right candidate will have strong experience with AWS and knowledge on Java and Scala. This is an initial 6 month contract outside IR35 and if fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Take part in technical and product design activities supporting the platform

Design and prototype technical solutions using cloud infrastructure and resources

Help document & rationalise existing solutions to ensure business and technical goals

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to put forward and discuss technical and operations aspects of the platform

Support the implementation of designed solutions, working closely with engineering teams

Evaluate and introduce new technologies and solutions

Mentor more junior members of the team

Requirements:

Proven commercial experience as Technical Architect (3 years)

Deep knowledge of full software delivery life cycle (design, development, testing, delivery, operations)

Deep knowledge on AWS, NoSQL/SQL

Very good understanding of architecture/design styles, techniques, and practices (Microservices, Domain-Driven Design, Test-Driven Development, Design Patterns, etc.)

Experience with managing cloud infrastructure as code (CDK, Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
